Work About Eagleton School
Our students often write about their experience at Eagleton School. Below are a selection of poems from some of our students that talk about Eagleton.
Thanks to Eagleton By: Shiquan
I was the kind of kid that punched holes in the walls Never cared about who stands or who falls Got restrained a lot, would run without thought But, two staff really helped me - Their names are Tammy and Shirley They helped me through struggles and now - I'm on level three, Now I can go to Six Flags and beyond this I can see My future with my family Thanks to Eagleton - For all you've done for me
My Life at Eagleton By Nick H.
In the dorms at times it's warm sometimes it's cold. Some kids get bold and out of place and in my face. In school we act like fools And do whatever we like to do. In the gym we play to win And if we don't get made and try again. In Upper 23 I just try to be me and do what I do So I can be free. At Eagleton, my time will come. That's when I'll be a brightening influence on the future of Eagleton.
Eagleton Staff By Roberto
I am learning all about summer because you have some days to do things. I like to play softball, ride horses, and read books. This summer will be fun. I love summer. This summer I will go off campus for a visit. I will be good for the next few years. You are a one of kind staff at Eagleton School. I love Eagleton School because I need some help. People need the staff of Eagleton School.
Leaving Eagleton By Kenny
I sit down and think to myself, it's time to move forward in my life. I leave this month (December) and plan on starting something I never thought I would start until now- That something is a new me. When I leave Eagleton I plan on getting a job finishing up high school and then start up a new foot path To a career that is right for me. Mostly what is important to me in my family who I know loves me dearly. It is the ways I show them that breaks their heart. That is why the path I chose to take is for healers.
No Air By Kyle
In the world with no air, I tried to find my family, and they were not there. During the night, I saw somebody with an object, and they shined a bright light. I saw an owl, and heard a howl, I thought the animal was on prowl. I heard the phone and I answered it. I saw my clone, and found my family, all on my own. The reason I'm writing this poem, is because Eagleton School is always my home.
