Residential Child Development Counselors

Constant Responsible Supervision of our Students

hangingResidential Child Development Counselors are required to instill firm and warm personal boundaries in an open setting that provides socialization, challenges, and opportunities for boys that are working toward a positive self-image and reintegration into the home and community. Child Development Counselors prepare discharge plans, and the implementation of those plans for the children while at Eagleton. Often a discharge transition plan may take weeks to implement in order for the staff to prepare the child and family for what will come after discharge. Planning and implementation of a discharge plan always includes the parents/families, child, the staff of the home, clinicians, and responsible agencies. Residential Child Development Counselors are committed and dedicated to each student's personal growth.

Administrator on Duty (AOD)

An Administrator on Duty (AOD) assists the residential staff by providing constant supervision and support. The AOD is aware of all that is happening on campus 24 hours a day via wireless radios, telephones, monitors, and alarms.
