Meeting State Testing Standards

The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) is the commonwealth’s statewide standards based assessment program. State and Federal law mandates that all students who are enrolled in the test grades and who are educated with the use of Massachusetts public funds participate in MCAS testing. Students from the state of Massachusetts are required to take the MCAS and students from outside the state are required to take a similar test from their sending school.
