Educational Level

The educational level of the Intensive Program residents and day students ranges from preschool through high school. Academically, the students are typically from three to six years behind their same age peers and often have had poor school attendance. Intensive remedial education is necessary in the classroom and works well to address the behaviors that brought the student to Eagleton School. Related services identified in Individual Education Plans include Speech and Language Therapy, and Reading Specialists. Speech and Language Therapy is provided through consultants, while Reading is provided by an on-staff reading specialist.
