Facility and Location

The campus, located in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, consists of seven home-like residences, which follows the design of a suburban home with single bedrooms for each of the residents. Placement in the homes is based on age and needs. Intensive therapy groups are led by clinicians within the homes, including therapeutic relaxation, development of social skills and conflict resolution. Additionally, the child-care workers provide residents with a carefully planned skills-building program developing daily living skills, including but not limited to, assistance with housekeeping assignments, laundry, meal planning, meal preparation and food preparation.

The campus also includes the Discovery Center with seven classrooms, a computer/resource room, a gymnasium, nursing, and educational offices. An additional building contains an art room, two additional classrooms, kitchen, dining area, reception, conference rooms, clinical offices, and administrative areas. We also boast a game room, a large greenhouse/garden area, an in-ground swimming pool, a large outdoor recreational playing field, a horse rink for therapeutic horseback riding, and a non-denominational chapel for personal reflection.
